BugFuse

Lightweight, open source error tracking

BugFuse is self-hosted, works with the Sentry SDKs you already use, and runs on a single Postgres database. No Kafka, no ClickHouse, no fleet of containers to babysit.

Up and running in minutes

git clone https://github.com/hemantapkh/Bugfuse
cd Bugfuse
docker compose up -d
# → open http://localhost:3000

Just Postgres

One required dependency. Redis, SMTP, and S3 are optional extras, not prerequisites. Even Sentry's minimal self-hosted setup runs around 30 services, including Kafka, ClickHouse, and Redis, and asks for 16 GB of RAM. BugFuse fits on a small VPS.

Keep your SDKs

No new client libraries to adopt. Swap the DSN in your existing Sentry SDK setup and events flow into BugFuse.

No babysitting

One docker compose up, automatic migrations, and a single backend process. Built for teams who want error tracking, not an ops project.

Everything you need to track errors

Drop-in Sentry SDK compatibility

Speaks the Sentry envelope and store protocols. Swap the DSN in your existing SDK setup (JavaScript, Python, PHP, Ruby, Go, mobile, and more) and events flow into BugFuse.

Issues, not noise

Events are fingerprinted and grouped into issues with regression detection and affected-user counts. Find anything with Sentry-style search: is:unresolved level:error payment.

Alerts where your team lives

Automation rules with threshold, frequency, and spike conditions deliver to Slack, Discord, Telegram, email, and webhooks, or any of the 100+ services Apprise supports. Rate-limited so nothing floods.

Readable stack traces

Upload source maps with sentry-cli and minified JavaScript stack traces are symbolicated into readable frames, stored on local disk or S3.
